Bayfront Medical Center's helicopter stalled at the intersection of Keene and Rosery roads in Largo Thursday afternoon. The helicopter was called to fly a seriously injured car crash patient to Bayfront Medical Center at about 1:45 p.m., but as the helicopter landed, a plastic trash bag was sucked up into the rotor disc. Mechanics showed up on the scene to fix the helicopter, and after about 2 hours of work, the Bayflite was able to take off. The injured patient was taken by ambulance to Bayfront. Largo Police are investigating the accident.
