OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Police say the suspect in the fatal shooting of an employee of Southwest Airlines at Will Rogers World Airport has been found dead on Tuesday.
The suspect's body was found in a pickup in a parking garage, The person has not been identified.
According to NewsOK, the victim has been identified as Michael Winchester, 52. He is the father of James Winchester, the long snapper for the Kansas City Chiefs and a former player for the University of Oklahoma. Michael Winchester was the punter for Oklahoma from 1984-86
Police have closed the airport and advised those still inside to shelter in place, the Oklahoma City Police Department announced in a tweet. All arrivals and departures have been suspended, the airport said.

Authorities tell CBS affiliate KOTV that the shooting occurred near a parking garage outside of the Southwest terminal, where a man was found and given medical care. He was transported to a hospital in “emergency condition,” police said.
An airport spokesperson said via Twitter that all inbound and outbound air traffic has been suspended due to the shooting. In addition, OKC Police say they have shut down the airport and are asking those inside to shelter in place as the investigation continues.
