Clinton: Benghazi probes 'more of a reason to run'

WASHINGTON (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton says she feels emboldened to run for president because of Republican criticism of her handling of the deadly 2012 terrorist attacks in Benghazi, Libya.

Clinton says in an interview with ABC News airing Monday that she remains undecided about another campaign in 2016.

But she says the GOP-led Benghazi inquiry is "more of a reason to run" because she considers the multiple investigations into the attacks, quote, "minor league ball," unquote, for a country of the United States' stature.

Republicans have accused the Obama administration of stonewalling congressional investigators and misleading the public about the attacks in the weeks before the presidential election.

The attack killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

Clinton's book, "Hard Choices," offers a rebuke to Republicans pushing the probes.
