Vote by mail ballots prepared to come your way

Hillsborough County, Florida -- Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer gave 10 News a glimpse of how the vote by mail ballots are processed before you get them.

Thousands of ballots are run through machines to ensure voters get their ballots. Voting by mail makes it easier for voters to cast their ballot alleviating headaches at the polls.

For those of who think your ballot doesn't count if it's mailed in, Latimer explained, that's not the case and says votes by mail are the first ballots that are counted.

The Hillsborough Supervisor of Elections warehouse facility generates 20,000 vote by mail ballots per day to make it easy for you to vote.
