Pulse nightclub to reopen as memorial

The OnePulse Foundation announced on Instagram that it would create a permanent memorial to the 49 victims of the deadliest mass shooting in recent U.S. history.

ORLANDO -- The owners of the Pulse nightclub announced on Instagram that Pulse will reopen as a memorial, according to a report in the Orlando Sentinel.

On June 12, 49 people were killed in the deadliest mass shooting in recent U.S. history. The Instagram post did not provide details on how much of the club would be turned into a memorial or when it would be opened.

The nightclub owners have also set up the OnePulse Foundation to assist victims and contribute to a permanent memorial, the Sentinel reported.
