You won't be hard pressed to find a deal. NRF also says 8 out of 10 online retailers plan to offer some kind of deal today.
Some of the site wide discounts include 40% off online, plus free shipping at Eddie Bauer, LandsEnd.com is advertising 30% off plus free shipping and Express.com is also offering 30% off plus free shipping.
But, personal finance experts warn that you not get caught up in the bargain because the price you see advertised today may be offered throughout the holiday season and it may not even be the best price.
Price comparison web-sites like Pricegrabber.com, google.com/products, and cnet.com are three sites you can visit to ensure you're getting the best price.
You can also take advantage of coupon codes at retailmenot.com and promotionalcodes.com.
Which site is the best overall? CBS News contributor and personal finance expert Regina Lewis told The Early Show that top spot goes to Amazon.com. If you're in the market for electronics, Lewis says Walmart.com and BestBuy.com are other good options for you.
