Land O'Lakes, Florida - Her Facebook page shows a picture-perfect family: a handsome husband and three kids. But a different kind of photo -- a mug shot -- now indicates serious trouble for Alexis Colson.
The 37-year-old was arrested for having sex with a 16-year-old boy.
"We did receive a phone call from the victim's father," explains Pasco Sheriff's spokesperson Melanie Snow.
Investigators say Colson arranged to have sex with the boy by sending him instructions on his tablet... where to meet and what kind of car she'd be in.
"This is a woman who was aware of the age of the victim in this case. She knew the victim through her daughter," says Snow.
Colson has posted numerous photographs of herself on various websites showing off her fit physique. And she's also in trouble with the law for sending naked and sexually explicit photos of herself to the boy.
Colson covered her face with a jacket as she ran from her car into her house Wednesday afternoon. A man, believed to be her husband Tim, also said nothing to 10 News.
People in the neighborhood that 10 News spoke with did not know her well. Some had seen her out jogging. You could also see exercise equipment in the home's garage and Colson talks about fitness on her Twitter account.
Neighborhood residents were taken aback by the arrest and Holly Keener, a mother of six, says when it comes to sex with a minor, gender does not matter.
"There's no difference if it's a man or a woman," Keener said at her doorway. "I think it's perverted. It's molesting a child."
