Student injured in 'Peter Pan' play mishap

Tarpon Springs, Florida -- A student from East Lake High School is recovering after a school play set mishap.

Students were taking down the set from a performance of "Peter Pan," when a rigging malfunction sent a 17-year-old boy 30 feet into the air, where he hit head on the scaffolding.

Firefighters were called to the school, and safely got him down. The student was taken to the hospital with a minor head injury.
