3 suspects arrested in garage door opener burglary

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- Three individuals have been arrested in connection with an October 10th burglary in Dover where burglars used a garage door opener to access a residence.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office announced Monday that Richard H. Svenson, 45, of Valrico, Kevin T. Barker, 40, of Plant City and Danielle M. Zazulla, 42, of Plant City are in custody.

Deputies reported that back on October 10, Barker and Zazulla allegedly used a garage door opener stolen from an unlocked vehicle to enter the house. The suspects then took several items, including credit cards.

Those cards were used at two Walmarts and the Tobacco Depot in Plant City.

Each suspect has been charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling, two counts of burglary of an unoccupied conveyance and grand theft in the third degree.

DOVER-- Police are looking for three suspects wanted in connection to a home burglary that occurred when the home owner was sleeping.

Police say while the people living at the home were sleeping, the unknown suspect(s) gained access to a garage opener that was in an unsecured vehicle. They were able to open the garage door with the opener and the suspect(s) entered the victim's house through an unlocked garage door.

The suspect(s) took a laptop, Fossil watch and a wallet, containing credit cards. Surveillance video shows the suspects used the cards on October 11 around 7:30 at two Walmarts located at 1208 E Brandon Boulevard and 11720 E Dr Martin Luther King Boulevard and the Tobacco Depot in Plant City.

They are looking for two males and a female possibly driving a black Kia Sorento. See video for description of the suspects.


Anyone with any information reference the suspect is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of this suspect and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477)
