Tampa airport Starbucks will close for two weeks

The coffee house at TIA will offer alcoholic beverages at night.

Bad news, jittery fliers. You may feel more jittery soon.

As part of its $1 million renovation this fall, the Starbucks location in the main terminal will be closed for two weeks, our news partners at The Tampa Bay Times reported.

The good news: when the location reopens, it will be rebranded as Starbucks Evenings — serving wine, beer and "sharable small plates" in addition to coffee and tea, The Times reported.

The closure will come in October. The airside locations will remain open, and the airport said other locations, such as Wendys, Chick-fil-A and Qdoba in the new food court area will serve up coffee.
