Teens arrested in Pinellas Park attempted armed robbery

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. -- Police arrested a 19-year-old and 17-year-old in connection with an attempted armed robbery over narcotics.

The incident occurred at 4150 76th Avenue North in Pinellas Park Tuesday around 8:15 p.m.

Pinellas Park Police reported that the Pinellas Park 17-year-old suspect pointed a .380 semi-automatic handgun at the face of victim Menachem Williams, 38, of Pinellas Park. When Williams began to run away, the 17-year-old, who we will not identify per our crime reporting guidelines, allegedly fired once and missed Williams.

According to the report, Bryce Kardan Green, 19, of Pinellas Park and the minor suspect were after narcotics in Williams' possession. Following the gunshot, both suspects fled the area.

However, PPPD officers conducted a search and located both suspects. They have both been charged with attempted robbery with a deadly weapon. The 17-year-old also faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and delinquent in possession of a firearm.
