A Cocoa woman was sent to jail after police said she threatened her husband with a samurai sword.
Patricia Jean Krueger, 47, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after Brevard County sheriff's deputies were called to investigate reports of a disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of MacArthur Circle in Cocoa.
No injuries were reported.
Deputies reported that at about 10 p.m. Friday, Krueger grabbed a samurai sword and confronted her husband with it. She then made threats to kill him while holding the sword, a police report showed.
Krueger was arrested and taken to the Brevard County Detention Center in Sharpes. She remains in jail today on a $25,000 bond.
A Brevard County judge also ordered Krueger to have no further contact with her husband.
Krueger will have a hearing on the charges May 17 at the Titusville Courthouse.
