Tampa, Florida -- A judge ruled to end Debra Lafave's probation early during a court hearing Thursday afternoon.
Lafave's probation was scheduled to expire in 2015, but her lawyer, John Fitzgibbons, argued to end it four years early for the new mother.
Debra Lafave is now the mother of twin boys. Fitzgibbons says the ex-middle school teacher, who pleaded guilty to having sex with her 14-year-old student, gave birth about a month ago.
Lafave reportedly got engaged earlier this year, and reports at the time stated she was helping her fiance Shawn with his business.

Lafave served more than 2 1/2 years of house arrest before she was freed in 2008. She pleaded guilty in 2006 to two counts of lewd and lascivious battery for having sex with the boy in a classroom and her home. Her attorney said she had a psychiatric condition that affected her judgment.
The case became tabloid and media fodder at several turns. Lafave had posed in skimpy outfits for modeling shoots, and her lawyer once suggested the blonde was too attractive to go to jail.
The victim is now 21. His sister said he is still getting psychiatric care.
