TALLAHASSEE, Florida (AP) - Floridians can call a state hotline to get information on Debby.
The state activated the toll-free line on Wednesday although Debby had been downgraded from a tropical storm to a tropical depression after battering parts of Florida since Saturday.
Emergency management officials say they expect Debby to continue causing problems as it makes its way across the state as a weakened system.
Citizens can call the hotline at 800-342-3557 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Hearing impaired people can call the Florida Telecommunications Relay at 800-226-4329.
