  • Berea, OH - A performance of the Kachunga Alligator Show at a Cuyahoga County, Ohio fair went awry when one of the alligators mauled its trainer.

The trainer, Danny Beck, accidentally placed his arm in the jaws of the alligator, who then bit down and held him before the show's master of ceremonies, who is also an alligator trainer, came to his aid.

Beck got away with what was mainly a flesh wound that only required stiches.

The fair board decided to cancel the Kachunga Show this year. Wildlife Entertainment, the parent company of the Kachunga Alligator Show, says they understand the decision, but that the fair attendees were in no danger at any time.
