Tampa, Florida -- After an extensive investigation of 11-year-old Jenny Caballero's drowning, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office announced on Tuesday the closing of the investigation. No charges will be filed.
Just over a month ago on October 12, Caballero wandered away from the Rodgers Middle School gym, where more than 100 other students played at the time.

There were reportedly six teacher's aides in the gym, and it was unknown how much time passed before they realized Caballero, who had Down Syndrome, was missing.
After five hours of searching, divers with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office located her body at the bottom of a pond approximately 12 feet deep. Reports say she was 20 feet from the shoreline.
The following day, Hillsborough deputies returned to the school for questioning, and an investigation continued for almost exactly a month.
The Hillsborough County State's Attorney Office has ruled that no criminal charges are warranted, reports say.
