Tampa, Florida -- This news shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone by now... but Sunday's home game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the St. Louis Rams has been blacked out.
Once again, the Bucs failed to sell out Raymond James Stadium.
The game, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. can still be heard on the radio at 620 WDAE.
To avoid blackouts of home games, the Bucs must meet the 85 percent
general seating capacity at Raymond James Stadium by a deadline, usually
set on the Thursday afternoon before the game.
If the deadline is not
met, fans within a 75 mile radius will not be allowed to see the game
unless they go to the stadium and watch it in person.
So far, only two Bucs home games this season were televised live locally.
WTSP 10 News will be airing the Cincinnati Bengals/Pittsburgh Steelers game Sunday at 1.
