The showers and storms that moved through the region Thursday night will continue to push south as the cold front quickly moves through the Tampa Bay area. The front will be south of our area before sunrise. Winds will pick up overnight and could gust as high as 25 miles per hour. Lows overnight will drop into the mid 40's for the Nature Coast and Low 50's for Tampa Bay and points southward.
High pressure will quickly build in behind the front on Friday providing us with plenty of sunshine. Winds will stay strong out of the northwest between 14 and 18 mph. High temperatures will only reach the low 60's. Winds will begin to veer to the east northeast by Sunday and begin a warming trend.
Overnight Rain showers end, with clearing skies. Low around 52. North to Northwest winds picking up after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
