energetic, loving, playful dog who appears to be a Basenji/ terrier mix (no
info on his heritage and he's a bit larger than a purebred, but appearance and
personality point to it). He has really striking markings and is a handsome
boy! Basenjis are a coveted, intelligent breed of hunting dogs who are
also known for being fantastic companions. They need a good amount of
exercise and play time with their family.

Jasper
is so affectionate and loyal. When you take him for a walk, he leans
against your leg to feel like he's with you for every second of it. It's
like his doggie version of holding
your hand. He loves getting hugs and asks for them as soon as he sees
you. If he was drawn as a cartoon character, he'd have a giant smile on
his face and a heart with an exclamation point over his head.
He's house-trained and crate
trained, gets a long with most other dogs, but would rather play with you than
them most of the time. He would love to have a kid or 2 to play with in
his new home, but because of his energy level and strength, he might not be a
great match for a home with toddlers. He also needs to go to a home without cats, because he can't resist a good
chase, and must have a fenced backyard. He would be happiest with a
family who won't leave him alone for long periods of time during the day.
He
has been neutered, microchipped and is up-to-date on his shots, so he's ready
to find his forever home. He has very short hair, so he won't shed much
in your house and needs minimal grooming.
