Video: BREAKING: Boy critically injured in BB gun accident passes away
Frostproof, Florida -- Polk County Sheriff's deputies have delivered tragic news regarding a boy critically injured in a BB gun accident last week.
Officials say 10-year-old Skyler Richardson passed away at the hospital on Wednesday evening.
This news came exactly one week after Skyler was shot in the head at close range as he and his 13-year-old brother were shooting targets with their BB rifles.
Skyler was airlifted to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, where he remained in critical condition until he passed.
