Tampa, Florida-- After an elderly, bedridden woman passed away from severe neglect, deputies say they arrested her husband and two daughters- who were supposed to be her caregivers- for aggravated manslaughter.
The same charges are also pending for the woman's son.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office report, 65-year-old Mary Hildreth Winston was confined to her bed three-years-ago as she suffered from rheumatoid arthritis. She was left to rely exclusively on her family for care from then on.
Fast forward to October of 2012- Mary passed away on the 25th, and medical examiners ruled her death a homicide from severe neglect the next day.
Months later, deputies sent out their report with a list of charges for the family, and disturbing details of the condition of Mary's deceased body- details so graphic that 10 News preferred we not describe them here.
