Clearwater, Florida -- 10 News has learned that a 33-year-old Sunstar Paramedic who was killed in a Clearwater crash Monday was one of the first responders to help Ireland Nugent after the toddler's lawnmower accident.
Clearwater Police say Christopher Jennings died when he crashed his motorcycle into the side of a woman's Chevy Suburban on Gulf to Bay Boulevard on Monday afternoon. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Jennings was with Sunstar for four years. He also worked as an assistant supervisor paramedic out of the North County hub and was a SWAT paramedic in support of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
