St. Petersburg, FL - The man who wants to be St. Petersburg's next mayor says he has a plan to increase efficiency, save money, and improve the city's most challenged neighborhoods.
Rick Kriseman faces incumbent Bill Foster in the upcoming mayoral election. Kriseman laid out a plan on Wednesday that would focus on attracting green technology jobs, energy efficiency improvements, and implementing a program called SaintPeteStat.
The system, which Kriseman says has saved other cities millions, is based on the CityStat Model, and uses statistics to show whether goals are being met.
