Pinellas Park, FL -- Bill Young II says his dad, U.S. Rep. C.W. Bill Young, served into his 80's because he was driven to help others.
Speaking with 10 News two days before his father will be laid to rest, Young II said his dad's hobby was helping people.
"Even on his time off, he would go out to the military hospitals or the veterans hospitals and make sure everyone was doing OK," he said. "It didn't matter if you lived in his district or not, if you lived in Tampa and you called and had a problem, he'd help you if he could."
