St. Petersburg, Florida - The monkey that has eluded wildlife officials for months was sighted in St. Petersburg on Saturday.
Rick Coffey says he spotted the monkey in his backyard and shot some home video. He says, at first glance, he thought the monkey was a cat trying to get into his birdfeeder. Then, he took a closer look and discovered it was the monkey!
"And he started to eat out of one of the small bird feeders and he actually took the lid off of it and was sticking his hand in and was doing mouthfuls of seed," Coffey said.
Coffey says he still can't believe the monkey was in his backyard, and he's glad he was able to capture shots on his on camera.
