The ridesharing firm Uber and Amalie Arena are working together to make it easier and safer for visitors to get to the venue, starting with first home game of the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday.
Uber will have a dedicated lane, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, on Channelside Drive between Florida Avenue and Morgan Street outside the arena.
As a bonus, Lightning fans can comment on their experience with Uber on the Lightning website, and one of the service's drivers will win a pair of tickets to a game each month.
Fans also can take the TECO streetcar to and from games. There are two stops: Channelside and Beneficlal Drive, and the HSBC station on Old Water Street south of the arena.
