HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies released a video of a man assaulting a deputy after a traffic stop on Wednesday.
Deputie said Rodshee Jermaine Rayford exited a vehicle and shoved a Hillsborough deputy following a seatbelt violation stop around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of 142nd Avenue East and 12th Street North. He was with an unidentified female.
A struggle between the deputy and Rayford occurred before he ran off, and he is now at large.
Rayford is a known repeat offender and already had a warrant out for his arrest for parole violation. Some of his past charges include robbery with a firearm, carjacking, and kidnapping and assault.
Deputies said do not approach the suspect as he is known to be dangerous.
