Delray Beach, FL (CNN) - Police say the two suspects acted casually enough, first knocking on the front door, and then when no one answered, sauntering around back where one of them makes friends with the family dog.
Once the suspect made friends with the dog, he went to check out the doors, the dog following behind.
It's a little too close for comfort for homeowner David Rosenbon, who moved here from France ten years ago and has been concerned about crime.
"Yeah a little bit. I have kids. I have a family. I have a life, so I don't want anyone to come to my house, unless I invite you."
Apparently not realizing he was being caught on tape, the suspect goes on to peer in the back french doors. Then, he picks up a brick from the garden and tries to smash the glass. Foiled again. It's unbreakable hurricane glass. The suspect can't get into the home, and his attempts are all caught on camera.
