(WBIR) - Ready to get a little mud on the tires? The Redneck Resort Mud Park is now open in Sweetwater.

The park sits just off exit 60 of Interstate 75. The park will be open only eight times a year for a weekend at a time.

This is the first full weekend.

The "resort" has several campsites, mud pits for mud boggin', a mud swimming hole, and a "hillbilly playground."

The owner, Jeff Darragh, said, "It's like tailgating with mud and music and food and just having a weekend where for just 20 bucks or 30 bucks, if you want to stay the whole weekend, you can relax and hang with your friends."

You must sign a waiver to use your four-wheeled vehicle or ATV.

It costs $20 for a day and $30 for a weekend.
