CLERMONT, Fla. (WKMG) - A Clermont Police officer is facing discipline Tuesday after he is caught on video speeding down Interstate 4, nearly rear-ending a driver.
Jeff Davis took the video after he said an officer outside his jurisdiction, was speeding nearly 20 miles above the speed limit with no lights or sirens on, and nearly hit his car.

Davis recorded him for two miles hitting speeds of 87 miles per hour and uploaded his video to YouTube, and then sent the link to Clermont Interim Police Chief Charles Broadway.
"This incident is isolated and it will be dealt with. It is not indicative of the great employees here", Broadway said.
Broadway has been in charge of the department for less than a month and acknowledges this incident is an embarrassment for the Clermont Police Department in the wake of two other officers pulling a prank on one of their peers by driving 90 mph down US Highway 27.
After that stunt, Police Chief Steve Graham announced his retirement.
As for the latest officer's stunt, Broadway said the severity of the discipline will not be determined until a full investigation is conducted.
"I will say officers are held to a hired standard than the average citizen," he said.
In the video, the officer apparently realizes someone is following him and possibly taping him, and proceeds to slow significantly moving into the right lane.
Jeff Davis told Local 6 he knows traveling at a high rate of speed was wrong, but he believes officers should not be citing other drivers if they do not follow the law themselves. At this time, Davis has not been cited.
