Clermont, Florida (WKMG) - A 3-week-old kitten stuck inside the Abraham Lincoln statue at the Clermont President's Hall of Fame was rescued Sunday afternoon.
The Humane Society and Minneola Fire Department were on hand to saw a hole into the statue. Then a firefighter dropped down inside the hole and brought the small kitten out.

The kitten was dehydrated and hungry. He will be nursed back to health by a local veterinarian and put up for adoption.
The curator at the President's Hall of Fame is hoping to adopt the cat and name him Abe.
