Spokane, Washington -- Typically cats are the ones who have 9-lives. But a dog in Washington certainly has his share after surviving a several hundred foot fall!
Marshall and his dog Jaspar were out on an adventure with their family and started racing to a lookout point with a ledge.
When they got to the edge Jaspar leaped over it, falling 300-feet hundred feet into the Spokane river.
Jaspar was able to swim to shore on his own and when his family arrived at his aid they rushed him to the vet expecting the worse.
But, to the veterinarians surprise, Jaspar walked away only with a bruised liver, lungs and a scratch on his leg.
Not bad for such a fall!
