Brooksville, Florida -- A woman is facing charges for allegedly making false complaints in several calls to 911.
The Hernando County Sheriff's Office says 54-year-old Wendy Brock called the emergency phone number three times on Thursday. The first time she claimed "large cats" were sneaking through her yard, then that ex-roommates were crawling in her back yard and harassing her, then finally that someone had left a hammer at her front door.

After a deputy arrived to investigate the third call, Brock allegedly tried calling 911 again, this time to complain that the Sheriff's Office wasn't taking her seriously.
The deputy told Brock not to call 911 for that, but she continued to dial. That's when the deputy took Brock into custody and charged her with misuse of 911.
