(CBS/AP) -- A Philadelphia TV news anchor is being criticized for trying to get
her Twitter followers to watch the station's coverage of a deadly
shooting by comparing it to "Breaking Bad."
WTXF-TV news anchor Joyce Evans tweeted:
"Thought "Breaking Bad" was hot last Sunday? @FOX29philly See who's breakin' bad in SW Philly leavin' 6 people SHOT - Tonite at Ten!"
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports viewers immediately criticized
Evans, with one person writing it sounded "like it was written by a

affiliate. She later responded that she was trying to compare the "very
real life drama" of the shooting to the fictional show about a chemistry
teacher turned methamphetamine dealer.
Authorities say one person is dead and another is in critical condition after six total people were shot Sunday evening, CBS Philadelphia reported.
It remains under investigation.
