Naked intruder startles north Florida family

WEWAHITCHKA, Fla. (AP) -- A north Florida man is facing charges after authorities say he broke into a family's home and walked around naked.

The Gulf County Sheriff's Office says 41-year-old Jack Davila is charged with trespassing and indecent exposure.

Authorities say he was spotted Saturday night by a 13-year-old girl living in the home who awoke to find Davila sitting nude on her bed. She then called authorities for help. Investigators say the mother escorted her children outside after Davila began talking to "imaginary people" in the bathroom.

An incident report shows he told investigators he was at the home for "a pool party," but deputies noted that "there was no pool around."

Davila told deputies the incident happened because of his bad reaction to sleeping pills. A telephone listing to reach Davila for comment couldn't be found.
