HANNIBAL, Mo. (AP) — Your big mouth may be worth big bucks. Now that the price of gold is sky high, people are cashing in on their choppers.
Bobby Heiser is the owner of Crescent Jewelry in Hannibal, Mo. He says people are coming in every day with gold teeth to sell. Some even have whole bridges with teeth still attached.
Heiser tells a local paper he'll pay a little less if he has the yucky job of separating the gold from the teeth. The price of gold has now topped $1,100 an ounce.
