
Davis, CA - If you enjoyed a few beers with the Super Bowl on Sunday, you may have been doing something good for your bones.
Researchers at the University of California-Davis analyzed 100 commercial beers and found the beverage contains a significant source of dietary silicon, which increases bone mineral density.
Beers with the greatest amounts of barley and hops had the biggest bone benefit.
