Oneco, Florida - Manatee County Sheriff's Deputies have charged a man with aggravated assault after he allegedly threatened his roomate with a sword and baseball bat on Thursday night.
Officers say thirty year old Juan Gillis got into a fight with his housemate over food stamps.
According to the arrest affidavit, Gillis grabbed a sword and told the man, "I will slice and dice you." Deputies say Gillis later tried to hit the housemat with a baseball bat.
Gillis is being held in the Manatee County jail on $1,500 dollars bond.
