Palm Beach Gardens, Florida -- A t-shirt that some Catholics say is offensive is being pulled from the shelves at Nordstrom.

The t-shirt resembles a famous painting of Mary holding the baby Jesus, but in a striking difference, it is now a winged skeleton holding the child.

Judy Carbo, a devout Catholic, says she was stunned and offended.

"As a Catholic and a Christian, it was offensive all the way around. We consider her holy," Carbo explains. "If you were Jewish, you wouldn't want to see a swastika on a shirt. If you were African-American, you wouldn't want to see anything that was derogatory towards you."

Nordstrom has stopped selling the shirt as well as two other shirts they say can be considered offensive.
