In June of 2004: Debra Lafave was a teacher at Greco Middle School, when she was arrested. Authorities said she had sex with a 14-year old boy just a week before inside a portable at the school. 

At the time of her arrest, she was married, two months later her husband Owen filed for divorce. 

In December 2004: investigators released audio and video tapes of Lafave with her 14-year old victim. The tapes showed her, the victim and his cousin in a store in Ocala, in Marion County.

In November 2005: Lafave accepted a plea deal in Hillsborough County; guilty to two counts of lewd and lascivious in exchage for 3 years house arrest.

A month later: she expected a similar deal in Marion County, but instead the judge set a trial date.

Then in March of 2006:  while she was on trial, Lafave got engaged to her high school sweet heart Andrew Beck.

A few days later prosecutors in Marion County dropped all charges.

Lafave avoided trial. She started serving three years house arrest and seven years of probation, both for pleading guilty to two counts of lewd and lascivious battery.

Before Tuesday's arrest she had just finished her second year of house arrest.
