Florida bond jumper not smiling after latest arrest

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. -- A Stuart, Fla. woman was no longer smiling when she found out how much trouble she was in after she was charged a $265,000 bond in a drug trafficking case.

Kaley Ann Kunkemoeller, 24, was seen smiling in a photo taken by the Martin County Sheriff's Office after deputies arrested her on multiple drug charges on November 18. When it came time for her booking photo, her mood changed significantly.

MCSO said that Kunkemoeller was no longer feeling the joy after learning she would be held on the large bond. As of November 19, Kunkemoller had not yet bonded out of jail. A search of Martin County records revealed that she was previously arrested on September 7 for drug and drug paraphernalia possession and posted a $10,500 bond.

Kunkemoller's arrest was a part of a larger county sting called "Operation Relentless Pursuit," an investigation into illegal drug trafficking inside the county. Detectives located Kunkemoller, who was hiding out in Boynton Beach in Palm Beach County.

Together with the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, detectives were able to locate Kunkemoller. She attempted to flee the scene on foot, but was ultimately captured a short time later, according to the Facebook post.

She was transported to Martin County Jail and charged with sale and delivery of oxymorphone within 1000 feet of a park or school and oxymorphone possession.

According to MCSO, Operation Relentless Pursuit remains open and they said more arrests "are on the horizon."
