Officer meets baby kangaroo during traffic stop

NAMPA, Idaho (KTVB) - We've said it once, we'll say it again -- there's no such thing as a "routine traffic stop."

Idaho's Nampa Police Department posted this picture to Facebook on Wednesday.

An officer got a selfie on the wild side with a 2-month-old kangaroo named Hamilton.

He was the passenger in a car that Officer Curtis Carper pulled over.

The post says police never know what they're going to encounter and this just might be proof.
