'Only in Buffalo,' Brady talks about NSFW object thrown on field

Tom Brady’s Monday morning call with local Boston radio station WEEI is a real font of information. We’ve learned all sorts of things from his weekly conversations, and today’s was not the exception to the rule: the quarterback gave some searing insight into the NSFW object that was thrown onto the field during the Patriots game against the Bills in Buffalo.

You can watch footage of the implement being thrown onto the field here. Watch how the officiating crew handles the incident here.

“I did see it. Yes I did, I did see it,” Brady said when asked. “I thought it was funny the ref didn’t want to pick it up. He was kicking it. Nobody wanted to reach down and grab it.”

“That was very unusual,” he continued. “That was a first. Only in Buffalo. That was very unusual.”

He went on to wonder how the fan got it into the stadium, given the clear bags rule.

We also learned about the Brady bunch’s Halloween plans! The whole fam — supermodel, quarterback, and their kids — intend to trick-or-treat in their Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Brady wouldn’t reveal what his costume is, but said he told Gisele during the planning stages that he wanted it to be something that covers his face. I am personally hoping that Tom Brady’s costume is Tom Brady and that he wears that creepy fake Tom Brady mask.

Or maybe he’ll go as a turkey because we know he has the costume already.
