Pet of the Week: Macayla
Pet of the Week: Cotton
Clearwater, Florida - Macayla is a petite, compact Pit Bull Terrier mix that is 5 years old. We first met this beautiful girl in 2007 when a change in her family structure brought her though our doors. She was lucky to have spent nearly 3 years with a family that loved her, but changes happened again and Macayla is looking for a new family to give her all of the love and attention that she desires.
She is a smart girl that is very eager to please you and will quickly show you her tricks before you can even ask for them. She has excellent manners, is completely house trained and walks well on a leash. Macayla's perfect new home would offer adults and older children that like to play with her and share the couch of course. She would like to be the only furry family member in the house. Come fall in love with this gorgeous girl!

Pet of the Week: Cotton
Cotton is a handsome medium sized 3 year old domestic short haired cat. He is mostly white with unique brown tabby splashes. He is a very sweet and affectionate cat. He is one of the first cats to approach you when you walk into his cage.
Cotton was turned into the Humane Society because he wasn't consistently using his litter box. It turns out that he just needed to be on a special diet to maintain a healthy urinary tract. He is now eating Science Diet c/d and is doing great. He gets along great with the other cats that he shares his space with here at the shelter. It is unknown whether or not he gets along with dogs or children so if you have either please bring them with you to meet our sweet Cotton and give him the second chance at a forever home that he deserves.
