Tampa, Florida-- During his speech Wednesday night, Paul Ryan attacked Obama on a few things, one of them, keeping his campaign promises.
Ryan made it personal when he talked about a closed plant in his hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin.
10 News worked with Politifact to check up on just how factual his accusations were.

"First of all, the plant actually shut down a month before Obama took office, so it was during the Bush Administration that a large part of the workers lost their jobs," Katie Sanders with Politifact Florida said.
"And secondly, Obama didn't make that promise to keep the Janesville plant open. He suggested that with government help, these plants could stay viable for the next 100 years," she continued.
Sanders says what Ryan is trying to do is create more resentment toward Obama for breaking campaign promises.
