Tampa, Florida -- A United States Postal Service employee and veteran of the Air Force was arrested at his South Tampa home Tuesday on child porn charges.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, on January 13 detectives seized numerous computer items during a search of 59-year-old Lloyd Lee Edge's home.
On Edge's computer, detectives say they found files depicting children approximately 12 years old and younger engaged in sex acts. Also found were child porn files meant for distribution.
On Tuesday, police arrested Edge at his home. He is being held without bond at the Hillsborough County Jail on two counts Possession of Photos Depicting Sex with Child and six counts Possession of Child Pornography. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Wednesday.
Edge served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force from 1972-1992, where he retired as a Technical Sergeant. At the time of his arrest, he had been working for the United States Postal Service since 1999.
