Heavy rains Saturday evening have shifted from Ocala to north Florida and the Panhandle. This is the location of the stationary front. The wet pattern is fading and we will get back to scattered afternoon pop up storms for Sunday. The chance of rain is 30% and drops to 20% Monday.
Sunday: Look for a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2pm. Storms will focus east of I-75 and could build back to the coast after sunset. It will be the hottest day so far this month finally breaking into the 90s as the sunshine returns. Expect mostly sunny, conditions with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 100. South southeast wind between 3 and 7 mph. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
