Wednesday is a transition day so we will split the 10 News viewing area for expected chances at rainfall. South of the Tampa metro will see the better chance at showers/storms. Manatee, Southern Polk, and Hardee counties will expect around a 50% coverage of rain. Sarasota, DeSoto, and Highlands counties will see a 60% coverage of rain. For Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties I will call for a 40% coverage of rain, and last but not least Hernando and Citrus counties can expect a 30% coverage of any showers.
Now having laid out Wednesday, your Thursday and Friday seem to be the wettest and most unsettled days this week. For now there is a 70% coverage of t-storms/showers both days but models are having trouble handling this tropical moisture, so I would make a point to check back often on as there is a good chance that we will modify part of the forecast. Add to all of this, the extended models are trying to keep us in the rainfall through Sunday, so not only is the end of the week looking stormy, we may carry the amount of rainy days into the weekend...stay tuned friends!
