The Big Bay Boom in San Diego, California was a big bust, according to fireworks watchers. 

The city's popular show went off early and all at once on Wednesday night. 

San Diego's Independence Day display misfired about five minutes ahead of schedule then it all went dark. 

Garden State Fireworks, the company that put on the show says a technical issue caused the fireworks to pop in 15 seconds. 
A team from the company is trying to figure out what happened.
