Clearwater, FL -- This weekend, a Bay area man will begin to ride 2,500 miles to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

Dusty Showers is riding his bike from Clearwater to Los Angeles as part of a five-week journey.

You can join him Saturday morning just before 9 a.m. to wish him well at the Clear Sky Beachside Cafe located at 490 Mandalay Avenue in Clearwater. Twenty percent of the proceeds from all food purchased between 8-10 a.m. will be donated to The 2nd Basemen, Inc.

The mission of The 2nd Basemen charity is to enrich the lives of both women and men diagnosed with breast cancer by providing financial assistance to help cover medical bills, family bills, and enrichment. To donate to The 2nd Basemen, click here.
